POSITION SUMMARY
The Physician Enterprise team at Conway Regional will partner with Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners, Advance Practice Nurses, and Physician Assistants) to help provide care for patients within the Conway Regional Specialty Care Network. This position is for an outpatient Advanced Practice Provider at Renaissance Women's Center.
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION
This position is a designated as "Safety Sensitive Position" under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services. Responsibilities
JOB PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
Obtains medical history and performs the appropriate examination to establish a working problem list. Assesses patients at an advanced level, identifies health status including abnormal conditions, establishes a diagnosis, develops and implements treatment plans and evaluates client outcomes. Orders or performs the appropriate laboratory or diagnostic testing. Orders or performs routine procedures as would be expected in the specialty. Prescribes legend drugs, therapeutic devices, and controlled substances (Schedule III-V) as permitted under Arkansas Law, in accordance with written protocols and/or collaborative practice agreement. Documents care provided in the patient's medical record. Recognizes his/her limits of knowledge and experience, planning for situation beyond his/her expertise, and collaborating with or referring to other healthcare providers as appropriate. Supervises assisting nurses and ancillary personnel in their provision of patience care. Uses critical thinking and decision making at an advanced level, commensurate with the autonomy, authority and responsibility of his/her license. Demonstrates a commitment to service, organizational values, and professionalism through appropriate conduct and manor at all times. Adheres to and exhibits the organization's core values. Maintains confidentiality and protects sensitive data at all times. Demonstrates exceptional customer services and interacts effectively with physicians, patients, residents, visitors, staff and the broader health care community. Participates in the formulation of Standards of Care, protocols, procedures, and structure standards. Performs other functions and procedures at the direction of the physician for which the advanced practice provider is trained and which are within the scope of providers specialty. Maintains necessary licenses, certifications, and education requirements for clinical practice and Medical Staff Office credentialing. Other duties as assigned by the Hospitalist Medical Director or Administrative leadership. Demonstrates awareness of costs and utilization of hospital resources Qualifications Licensed to practice in the state of Arkansas as one of the above mentioned professionals
