Summary of Job Duties:

• This position will hire either an APRN or PA
• The Advanced Practice Nurse/Physician Assistant will assist the physician with surgery, clinic, organizing visits, and performing clinic procedures, care coordination of patients, and work as an independent care provider within the clinic and hospital.

Answer in-basket, MyChart, and patient questions, and work in collaboration with the physician to facilitate patients assigned with an MD. The APRN/PA will be responsible for managing the care of inpatients and/or outpatients, answering telephone inquiries, and filling prescriptions. The APRN/PA must have a high level of expertise to perform assessments/diagnosis/treatment of actual/potential problems of patients.
