Desert Valley ENT has an excellent full-time opportunity for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a busy ENT practice in Gilbert, Arizona. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our fast-paced practice and to work closely with our surgeon.
Position Specifics:
In collaboration with the physician, assist in surgery, conduct post-surgical and routine follow up visits Rotate call Independently see patients in clinic for a myriad of ENT problems Perform routine office procedures, i.e. cerumen removal, suture removal, packing/splint removal, dressing changes, nasal cautery, foreign body removal Strong medical-surgical assessment skills required Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationship with patients, medical staff, and the public Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations Serve as physician extender in the clinic setting Document evaluations in a timely manner
- EMR•ModMed Assist in providing pre-op and post-op care; writes the appropriate orders, including those for narcotics, etc.
Required Education/Training Completion and graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program or Nurse Practitioner program Maintain current Arizona licensure, Federal DEA Complete adequate CME as required by licensure Maintain current certification in BLS and ACLS Experience 1
- 2 year experience; ENT experience preferred; willing to train New graduates are also encouraged to apply for this position Package to include: Competitive salary with production bonus structure CME allowance Paid vacation and holidays
