We are seeking a full-time Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant to join our close-knit team of skilled surgeons and physician assistants. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, supportive environment where you will gain hands-on experience in both the operating room and intensive care unit. We are willing to train the right candidate, and we strongly encourage providers with a Surgery Background as well as e xperienced providers to apply.

Responsibilities:

First and second assist in cardiothoracic surgical procedures Perform endoscopic vein harvesting (training provided if needed) Manage pre- and post-operative patients in the ICU and step-down units Conduct patient rounds, write progress notes, and coordinate care Perform procedures as credentialed (e.g., central lines, chest tube management, arterial lines) Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other members of the care team to deliver high-quality patient care

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current NCCPA certification (or eligible) Arizona PA license (or ability to obtain prior to start) Strong interest in cardiothoracic surgery and critical care Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills OR and ICU experience preferred but not required training will be provided

Schedule & Compensation:
