Healthcare Professionals accepted) Neurology- PA - Southern Arizona's largest and longest standing group practice dedicated to the treatment of neurological disorders is looking for an energetic and personable Physician Assistant (PA) to work within our Ear and Hearing Program. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and ready to hit the ground running in a fast-paced exciting work environment. Primary responsibilities will include seeing patients within his|her own clinic as well as with Southern Arizona's most experienced Neurotologist. The PA will also work closely with a state-of-the-art Audiology program and sometimes care for patients within the operating room and|or inpatient hospital setting. The candidate provides patient care, including history taking, performing a comprehensive ENT examination and executing necessary head & neck procedures. Orders and interprets lab and diagnostic tests. Develops and implements treatment plans. Maintains a thorough clinical knowledge base through regular reading of textbooks and journal articles. Collaborates with their supervising physician in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patient. Assists staff with clinical questions as they arise. Writes thorough patient notes in a timely fashion. While after-hours care is rarely required, some availability to the Answering Service may be required. Previous Otolaryngology experience, especially in the care of Otologic patients, is strongly desired.
