Job Description

We're seeking a Physician Assistant who is energized by hands-on patient care, procedural work, and being part of a collaborative, high-performing clinical team. What You'll Do As a Physician Assistant in our practice, you'll play a vital role in both direct patient care and in-office procedures , working closely with our ophthalmologists and clinical staff.
Responsibilities include:
Evaluate and manage patients in clinic, including history, exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning Perform ophthalmic procedures consistent with training and scope of practice Assist physicians with in-office and surgical procedures as needed Provide patient education, counseling, and follow-up care Document care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and support staff to ensure a seamless patient experience Contribute to a culture of quality, efficiency, and compassionate care What Makes This Role Special Procedural, hands-on work — this is not a purely administrative or routine follow-up role True physician partnership — you'll work side-by-side with experienced ophthalmologists High-quality practice environment with strong systems, support staff, and a commitment to clinical excellence Opportunity to grow your ophthalmology expertise over time Stable, well-established organization with a patient-first mission What We're Looking For Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with an active California state license (or eligibility) Interest in ophthalmology; prior ophthalmology experience is a plus but not required Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and procedural aptitude Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered mindset A collaborative, adaptable professional who thrives in a team environment What We Offer Competitive compensation and benefits package Training and mentorship in ophthalmic care and procedures Supportive leadership A role where your work is meaningful, visible, and valued Join Us This is an opportunity to build a rewarding career in ophthalmology while making a tangible difference in patients' vision and lives.
