Position Overview The Physician Assistant will serve as a clinic medical provider, performing both clinical and administrative responsibilities. This role requires knowledge of office systems, healthcare regulations, interdepartmental functions, and insurance standards to deliver seamless patient services in a primary care setting. Job Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care across a wide range of patient age groups Conduct physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as appropriate Maintain professionalism, courtesy, and responsiveness to patients, coworkers, and supervisors Support and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure quality care delivery Maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient information Ensure compliance with attendance, licensure, and clinic regulations Participate in staff meetings, committees, and special projects as needed Assist with the development and implementation of clinic policies and procedures Engage in continuous learning to advance skills and knowledge Education and Certification Requirements Possession of a valid California license as a Physician Assistant Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) DEA license (unrestricted) NPI number required BLS certification required ACLS and PALS certifications preferred Previous experience in primary care or underserved communities preferred Explore Eureka, CA!
