In this role, you will provide expert dermatological care, perform clinical assessments, and assist in advanced procedures to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. Your expertise will support our mission to improve skin health through innovative treatments, patient education, and comprehensive care delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, outpatient dermatology setting where your skills in medical procedures and patient management will be highly valued. Candidates may choose to work at one or more of our locations; Glendora, Glendale, Downtown Los Angeles. Responsibilities General medical dermatology Skin cancer screenings Diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions Cryotherapy and destruction procedures Shave, punch, and excisional biopsies Surgical excisions and repairs Layered closures with buried subcutaneous sutures Patient education and follow up care Accurate and timely chart documentation Requirements Valid Physician Assistant license with current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). NCCPA certified Proven experience in dermatology or outpatient clinical settings with familiarity in dermal fillers, esthetic laser treatment, and injection techniques. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy related to skin and subcutaneous tissue, and dermatological pharmacology. Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic or Practice Fusion Ability to perform physical examinations, suturing, aseptic technique adherence, and diagnostic evaluation confidently. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment, health coaching, and effective communication. Knowledge of CPT coding for billing purposes related to dermatological procedures. Familiarity with infection control protocols, data collection methods for research purposes, and managing acute pain or emergency situations when needed.
