About Hanford:
Hanford is a small but growing community in California's Central Valley that offers a more relaxed, affordable lifestyle compared to larger nearby cities. Known for its agricultural roots, Hanford has a strong sense of community, a historic downtown with local shops and restaurants, and convenient access to larger hubs like Fresno for additional dining, shopping, and entertainment. For someone considering a move, it's helpful to know that the cost of living is generally lower than in coastal areas, making it attractive for families and first-time homebuyers. Hanford appeals to people looking for a quieter pace of life while still being within driving distance of larger cities and outdoor destinations like the Sierra Nevada mountains. Adventist Health is committed to the safety and well being of our associates and patients. Therefore, we require that all associates receive all required vaccinations, including, but not limited to, measles, mumps, flu (based on the seasonal availability of the flu vaccine typically during October-March each year), COVID-19 vaccine (required in CA and HI) or the option of
COVID-19
vaccine or weekly testing (required in OR), etc., as a condition of employment, and annually thereafter. Medical and religious exemptions may apply.
