Orthopedic Physician Assistant (Hand Surgery)

An established orthopedic practice in the Pomona, CA area is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent role with a focus on hand and upper extremity. Candidates with 1-2+ years of surgical experience will be considered first.

Responsibilities:

Full-time permanent position, focus on hand and upper extremity Monday-Friday schedule 3.5-4 days in clinic, 1-1.5 days in OR Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments Diagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory tests Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients Prescribe medications and recommend non-surgical treatments such as physical therapy or rehabilitation Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Qualifications:

California State License Knowledge of orthopedic surgery, treatments and terminology Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
