Job Description

We are seeking a Physician Assistant (Mandarin Speaking) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a primary care or outpatient setting. You will work under physician supervision to conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications. A key part of this role is delivering culturally competent care and effectively communicating with Mandarin-speaking patients to ensure clear understanding and continuity of care. You will also provide patient education, preventive care, and support overall wellness within a collaborative clinical team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide medical care to support and maintain patient health under physician supervision. Enhance physician productivity by recognizing both immediate and long-term patient care needs. Suggest appropriate treatment options and care plans for patients. Collaborate effectively within a supportive, team-based clinical environment. Evaluate patients through interviews and physical assessments, including collecting and reviewing medical histories. Detect health abnormalities by ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in medical and departmental records. Educate and guide patients on health, development, and everyday emotional and lifestyle concerns. Help ensure continuity of care by creating and executing individualized treatment plans. Keep the clinical environment safe and sanitary by following established protocols and regulations. Protect patients and staff by strictly adhering to infection control standards. Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, staying updated on legal requirements and advising management as needed. Contribute to team development by sharing knowledge, providing training, and supporting professional growth opportunities. Willingness to work on-site in Rowland Heights.
Qualifications:
Fluency in Mandarin and English required. Active and unrestricted California PA license (Required) Current Board Certification (PA-C), required 2+ years' experience in clinical setting (Required) Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment If you are someone who values hard work, professionalism, and truly making a difference in your patients' lives, we encourage you to apply.
