: Job Description ATC West Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified Physician Assistant with Cardiothoracic Surgery experience to provide locum coverage in San Bernardino, California. This role focuses on cardiothoracic surgical first assist duties, hospital rounding, and call coverage in both hospital and medical office settings. The ideal candidate will have strong CT surgery experience, including CABG, AVR, lung procedures, and vein harvesting, and must be comfortable managing post-operative patient care and on-call responsibilities. Providers Needed:

1 Salary Range for 24hr/call flat rate $1200

• 1300 with 4 hour gratis Job Details / Responsibilities Provide cardiothoracic surgery first assist services Perform hospital rounding and patient management Participate in 24-hour on-call coverage with pager/call-back responsibilities Complete patient rooming and chart documentation Assist with procedures including: CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting) AVR (Aortic Valve Replacement) Lung procedures Vein harvesting Round on patients daily during assigned shifts Work collaboratively with 3 additional APPs Utilize Cerner EMR system Average patient volume: 4-5 patients per day Coverage needed due to APP relocation out of state Required Skills & Qualifications Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery required Will consider candidates Board Certified in General Surgery with CT Surgery Fellowship Active California license required BLS certification required during credentialing Strong cardiothoracic surgical experience required Vein harvesting experience required Clean malpractice history highly preferred Self-Query NPDB report required within 30 days of presentation No candidates without surgical experience will be considered For more information, please contact: Judy Murrin tel:424-678-1180
