Job Description

Our client in Ventura county California is looking to add a full time Certified Physician Assistant. The PA will work primarily in office and assist in surgery when necessary. Monday-Friday schedule, occasional weekend requirements. Licensed new graduates are encouraged to apply, previous experience in ortho preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of a physician
  • Conduct physical examinations and obtain medical histories
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
  • Prescribe medications and therapies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Educate patients and their families about healthcare management and disease prevention
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
  • CA State licensure as a Physician Assistant
  • Familiarity with standards of care in various healthcare settings
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
