Full Job Description Description:
Works under the supervision of the Medical Director to evaluate, diagnose, and provide medical management for clients with co-occurring disorders, including the treatment of substance use concerns.
Requirements:
Licensed with two years of experience with ambulatory detoxification and/or chemically supported treatment and currently licensed in Connecticut. Saturday availability a must. Experience with Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD). Must be able to work effectively across cultures and demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of Latino and African American communities. Provides psychiatric evaluations, medication monitoring and psychiatric consultation. Collects and organizes information related to individual client, family, medical, substance use and mental health history, and onset/severity of symptoms obtained from client, family members, and other pertinent treatment providers. Provides medication education for individual clients, staff, and families as necessary. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, providing consultation for clinical staff. Completes clinical and medical documentation for individual client records. Must have excellent communication both verbal and written. Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle.
