This is a full-time, permanent role with a focus on men and women's urology. Providers will work alongside a team of Physicians and APPs in clinic. Monday-Friday schedule, four day work week (32 hours). NO call, weekends or holidays. Local new graduates with an interest in urology will be considered.
Responsibilities:
Provide outpatient care Work four days per week (five is an option based on candidate preference) Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians, including medication management, patient education, and coordination of follow-up care Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies Provide counseling and support to patients and their families regarding conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless patient care coordination.
Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in Connecticut or willingness to obtain New graduates with an interest in urology will be considered Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical documentation Commitment to maintaining professional competence through ongoing education and participation in professional organizations
