Surgery - Neurosurgery Physician Assistant

Our client in Central Connecticut is looking to add a Physician Assistant to their neurosurgery team. This Full time position will work with 1:1 with an established neurosurgeon and team of providers. Previous neurosurgery or surgical experience is required.

Responsibilities:

Full-time permanent position Monday-Friday schedule Mix of clinic/OR/hospital rounding No weekend or call requirements Brain and spine cases Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments Diagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory tests Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients Prescribe medications and recommend non-surgical treatments such as physical therapy or rehabilitation Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Qualifications:

Connecticut PA License Knowledge of neurosurgery, treatments and terminology Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
