Job Description
Practice Overview Well-established, independently owned dermatology practice with a strong community reputation. Founded 12 years ago, the practice is patient-centered, with a large elderly population and a highly tenured, collaborative team. Position Summary Seeking a Dermatology Physician Assistant with 1+ year of dermatology experience (Family Medicine background preferred). This is a full-scope dermatology role for someone looking to grow long-term with a stable, down-to-earth practice. Responsibilities Full-scope medical dermatology and skin cancer screenings Shave biopsies Care for elderly patients in clinic and contracted nursing homes Patient volume: 30/day in clinic; 40/day during nursing home visits Collaborate closely with physician and clinical team Schedule Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 5:30 PM One day/week at nursing homes (mileage reimbursed) Support & Team Dedicated Medical Assistant for charting support Long-tenured staff (6+ years) Practice expansion currently underway Candidate Profile 1+ year dermatology experience Spanish-speaking preferred, not required Compassionate, team-oriented, and culture-focused Motivated to grow with the practice Compensation $100,000 $130,000 base Bonus and percentage-based compensation options Mileage reimbursement Additional Details Immediate need due to patient growth.
