Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physician Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, utilizing your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of health conditions. All roles are compensated positions that prioritize professional growth and patient-centered care. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments to gather vital signs, medical histories, and current health status. Assist in diagnostic evaluation by ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures. Administer injections, treatments and other medications, following aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Manage acute pain and provide minor emergency care in primary, urgent care, as outpatient clinic. Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems; ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in clinical decision making & advanced patient care plans. Support discharge planning, hospice & palliative medicine initiatives, and post-acute care coordination for diverse patient populations including geriatrics patients. Skills Proficiency with EMR systems for efficient data management and medical records documentation. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD 10 coding, CPT coding, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Experience with outpatient medicine environments including acute & chronic medical conditions & other medical procedures. Skilled in performing suturing, phlebotomy, IV management, and infection control practices. Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams in outpatient clinics or inpatient units while adhering to NCQA standards for quality care delivery. Excellent patient care skills encompassing physical examinations, vital sign monitoring, intake assessments, health coaching, medication administration—including injections—and physical assessments.
