Job Description

Job Summary:
Talented, patient-oriented physician assistant/nurse practitioner who enjoys delivering quality care and exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Currently we are looking for a full time provider for our Brandon location. Provider may occasionally be scheduled at the Tampa location on as needed basis. Please note the following address to our location: 1236 Kingsway Road, Brandon, FL 33510 and 12950 Racetrack Rd, Suite 107, Tampa, FL 33626. Average volume in 12 hour shift is approximately 15-20 patient a day. The candidate will need to be flexible with working at both locations if needed however base location will Brandon. In our urgent care setting, candidate will experience the full scope of urgent care cases, from acute illnesses to mild injuries. As an urgent care physician assistant/ARNP candidate should be prepared and comfortable with procedures such as suturing, splinting and interpreting diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs. Candidate will also conduct school, sports and pre-employment physicals. We also perform IV hydration and proficiency in placing IVs is recommended. Both locations will have one autonomous provider with 100% support from physician available remotely.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Diagnose and treat an array of pediatric and adult illnesses and injuries Order and interpret indicated diagnostic testing based upon evidence-based medicine (EBM) and clinical practice guidelines (CPG) Utilize Eclinical electronic medical record (EMR) Attend and participate in periodic staff meetings Become an active and energetic participant in this growing company Perform required procedures, including suturing and splinting, abscess drainage

QUALIFICATIONS
: Active Florid a medical license. PA-C certification, APRN Certification.
AVAILABILITY
We have an opening for 1099-contractor for one Full-Time and one Part-Time position available currently. Hours of operation are M-F 8:00am to 8:00pm and Saturday/Sunday 8:00am-5:00pm. Candidates will need to work minimum two weekends a month (full-time position) and one weekend a month (part-time position). Average volume at our clinic ranges from 15-20 patients a shift.
