Responsibilities Under general supervision, and with medical consultation and direction, performs physical, psycho-social assessment; establishes medical diagnosis; orders and evaluate diagnostic tests; manages follow up care; does other related work as required. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, developing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting lab tests and results, along with providing preventative healthcare and counseling Qualifications A college degree as a Physician's Assistant from a recognized university, affiliated with a medical school. Keyboarding and internet skills, ability to work with electronic medical records, webpages and patient portal. Georgia State Medical Board Certification and adherence to the Medical Practice Act provisions; Current NCCPA certification.
Preferred:
Compassionate, thorough, focused, and detail oriented. Able to recognize, analyze and prioritize problems. Preference for dealing with people who are ill and need help. Displays an outgoing, warm and helpful attitude. Tact to deal effectively with patients, guests, co-workers and physicians. Able to communicate clearly with patients over the telephone and in person. Two to five years of experience with a medical practice setting where diagnosis, treatment, and patient education were the main focus of the role.Work Hours:
