Headquartered in Augusta, GA, Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America provides services from the nation's largest individual burn center: the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team of dedicated professionals in the critical care, trauma and burn arenas. Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America is the nation's largest burn network with locations throughout the United States. Candidates much be willing to travel, as needed, and participate in staff education. Responsibilities Focus is on the reconstructive care of patients. Patient management of in the inpatient hospital, outpatient clinic Team approach and collaborative environment. Perform patient history and physicals Order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays and provide diagnosis Perform medical treatment and diagnostic procedures Perform minor surgical procedures 1st or 2nd assist during surgery, as required by supervising physician and/or training Instruct and counsel patients on treatment plans Preoperative and postoperative care Medication prescribing may also be necessary depending on state/facility Requirements Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nursing Program Successful completion of PANCE or NP Certification Exam Maintain NCCPA Certification or NP Certification Licensure in state practicing Family Nurse Practitioner with completion of an approved RNFA course that meets AORN standards We offer Medical/Dental/Vision/Life/401(k)/Vacation and Holidays.
