Physician Assistant License PA-C Full Job Description Overview:
Advanced Practice Provider - Critical Care - PRN Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for a PRN Advanced Practice Provider to join the Critical Care team. In this position, your primary responsibility is managing a caseload of critically ill patients in an intensive care setting under the direct supervision of the ICU supervising physician.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will: Utilize specialized skill and knowledge performing physical exams Collect and properly document data utilizing EMR system Conduct necessary procedures, including: central lines, arterial lines, vascaths, chest tubes, and intubations Order and schedule laboratory studies and professional consultations Prescribe appropriate interventions and medications Provide direct patient care services in a specific ICU or step-down unit
Qualifications:
Graduate and licensure as a Physician's Assistant by the National Board of Medical Examiners or the American Academy of Physician's Assistants with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board -or— Graduate from a school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master's degree in
