As a Physician Practice Assistant, you'll provide administrative support working the front office, provide patient support obtaining critical vitals and work with caring physicians as we improve the well-being of Native Hawaiians and all of the people of Hawai'i.

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria : Completion of a program/degree in one (1) of the following fields: Medical Assistant Nursing Assistant Emergency Medical Technician Nursing (LPN or RN) OR Be a current

Nursing Student:

Must have completed a semester of clinical fundamentals and a pharmacology course. OR Have at least six (6) months of direct patient care experience (preferably in a physician practice setting) or six (6) months of administrative medical office experience in one (1) of the following areas: Patient access or admitting Registration Scheduling Insurance verification (preferably in a physician practice setting) Additional requirements include : Current CPR certification at the BLS/HCP level. Proficiency with computers and automated systems. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
