POSITION SUMMARY

Works collaboratively with primary care physicians within the clinic, orthopedic surgeon and general surgeon to provide quality patient care in the outpatient setting.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required. Successful completion of certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Current licensure in the State of Iowa as a Physician Assistant. Three years' experience in an outpatient setting required. Surgical experience required. Attain privileges for delegated medical functions. BLS within three months of hire.
