We study, diagnose, and treat the disorders of the skin, hair, and nails. Dermatology, P.C. has an opening for a highly motivated practitioner to assist in all aspects of general dermatology.

Job Summary:

Assess patient health status including state of wellness, compliance with care plan, and determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Provide acute and chronic patient care including taking history, monitoring therapies, giving injections and medications. Perform routine dermatologic procedures. Document clinical information and care provided in the patient record in a complete, accurate, legible, and timely manner. Demonstrate positive and effective verbal communication skills with patients, families, and co-workers. Educate patients and families as appropriate. The position is not inclusively autonomous. This individual would be scheduled to work directly with a physician as well as a few days independently throughout the week. We have clinics in WDM, Ankeny, and Indianola. Flexibility of practice location required. Minimum of 1 year experience is preferred.
