Tail) Health/Dental/Vision Retirement (403b) Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 650+ provider multispecialty group practice that seeks a certified advanced practice provider (APP) to join a busy surgical practice. This individual will work primarily in the outpatient clinic setting and will also participate in inpatient rounding and support surgeons in the operating room, as needed. The position requires direct clinical management through utilization of approved protocols and procedures as well as appropriate medical consultation. The APP will work closely with the physician team and other APPs to deliver excellence in quality care and patient experience. The qualified APP will show evidence of comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical skills and problem-solving abilities, and commit to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. Candidates must hold a valid controlled substance registration with both the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and the DEA and should have past surgical and/or critical care experience in a hospital-based setting. Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (SARMC) is the principal provider of advanced, innovative and interdisciplinary trauma and critical care services. In addition, SARMC is an ACS verified Level II Trauma Center whose annual trauma volumes exceed 1,250 with over 400 patients with an ISS>16. Trauma is predominantly blunt in nature. The trauma surgeons participate in a primary and back-up call panel arrangement.
Requirements:
Successful completion of a PA Graduate Program (Masters Level) NCCPA certified PA (PA-C); current DEA; preference given to those with current BCLS, ACLS, PALS and ATLS.
Call :
Rotation of group call responsibilities, which include nights and weekend shifts. No ER call requirement.
