Restricted Part Time Orthopedic Surgery - Advanced Practice Provider Rush Copley Medical Center Aurora, IL Rush Copley Medical Center , in Aurora, Illinois, part of the Rush University System for Healt h network of hospitals, invites applications for the position of Orthopedics Advanced Practice Provider . Department/Division Specs- 11 APPs in the Orthopedic Department
- 11 Physicians in the Orthopedic Department Duties & Responsibilities The Per Diem Orthopedics Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) works collaboratively with supervising orthopedic surgeons and the departmental team to provide comprehensive, high-quality care to orthopedic patients.
Nurse Practitioner:
- Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process
- Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing practice with clinical specialty appropriate to position
- Current certification by American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP)
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications oAPRN Candidates will require Acute Care Certification if doing Inpatient work.
Physician Assistant:
- Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program
- Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will promote collaboration between multiple disciplines to ensure cost effective and quality patient care.
Pay Range:
