Educational Assistance Programs Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Flexible weekday schedule: 5x 8-hour shifts or 4x 10-hour shifts (prefer 0600 start time) What You Will Do Ensures Emergency Department clinical practices, outcomes, and competencies meet all regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards (IDPH, DNV, EMSC). Partners with ED leadership to drive quality improvement initiatives through data analysis, action planning, and continuous performance optimization. Promotes evidence-based practice and compliance with established care delivery standards; monitors individual and unit-level performance. Leads and delivers clinical education, annual competencies, onboarding, and ongoing professional development to advance nursing practice. Serves as a clinical and service role model, driving patient-centered care, effective communication, rounding, and first-line service recovery. Analyzes patient experience data to identify trends and implement strategies supporting top-decile ED patient satisfaction. Provides direct supervision, coaching, performance evaluations, and recognition to strengthen associate engagement, retention, and accountability. Facilitates shared governance, staff involvement in decision-making, workforce planning, and scheduling in collaboration with ED leadership. Ensures effective clinical operations through interdisciplinary collaboration, safe care delivery, staffing oversight, and direct patient care support. Builds strong physician and provider partnerships while supporting productivity, cost containment, resource readiness, and financial stewardship. What We Are Looking For Current RN License in
State of Illinois Education/Experience Required:
