Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular Surgery

Cardiovascular Surgery NP/PA Join our top ranked Cardiovascular Surgical team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant! Servicing a population of over 300,000 people, our nurse practitioner and physician assistant teams see cases flown in from all over the state. This position will work on the floors and the clinic as well as first assist in surgery including endoscopic vein harvesting.

Cardiac Care Compensation:

Up to $149,000 + $5,000 sign-on bonus + $2,000 + 1 week CME allowance + 401k match, full benefits, & PTO + DEA, license, and malpractice paid

Team and Scope:

12 MDs + 4 NP/PAs 60% surgery, 30% Floor, 10% clinic 50% vascular, 25% cardiac, 25% thoracic Surgery days begin at 7am Call coverage is 1/4 of the month, 30-minute required call back time

Requirements:

Licensed as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with surgical experience Unrestricted license Experience in OR required Experience with Cardiothoracic and/or vascular patients preferred Endoscopic vein harvesting experience preferred New graduates with requisite exposure welcomed to apply Visa Sponsorship not available at this time
