Key Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:

Conduct physical exams, take patient histories, and diagnose various conditions.

Emergency Procedures:

Perform wound care, suturing, minor surgeries, manage acute injuries, and administer emergency medications.

Critical Care Management:

Stabilize critically ill patients and manage acute conditions.

Collaborative Care:

Consult with on-call physicians and coordinate with local EMS for patient transfers.

Documentation and Follow-Up:

Maintain accurate patient records and provide follow-up care instructions.

Qualifications:

Education:

Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

Licensure:

Current state licensure as an NP or PA.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of emergency room experience preferred.
