Job Description

StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with a leading healthcare system in Louisiana to recruit experienced Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants) to join a high-volume Emergency Department at a Level III Trauma Center. This ED sees approximately 60,000 patient visits annually and offers strong APP support alongside a team of board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians.
Position Highlights:
Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and emergency treatments for a diverse patient population Collaborate closely with emergency physicians, nursing staff, and specialists to manage both acute and non-acute cases Order and interpret lab and imaging studies to support clinical decision-making Perform emergency procedures as appropriate within APP scope of practice Document and track patients using MediTech EMR 72 hours of daily APP coverage with 12-hour shifts and varied start times (8 AM, 9 AM, 10 AM, 1 PM, 2 PM, and 4 PM)

Qualifications:
