NIGHT SHIFT HOSPITALIST ACUTE CARE PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT OPENING

  • Bedford, TEXAS Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a Physician Assistant Hospitalist opening for a full-time opportunity on the campus of Texas Health HEB .
Expand your career by working closely with a successful group of hospitalists evaluating, diagnosing and treating a variety of patients.
POSITION DETAILS
  • Assist Hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&P's & follow-up visits.
  • Initiate appropriate treatment & testing for medical illnesses.
  • Complete history and physical examinations on all new admissions
  • Round on rehabilitation patients including long term acute care patients
  • Document using EMR system.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement processes.
IF YOU:
  • Enjoy working night shift, 7PM to 7AM, 7 ON, 7 OFF
  • Active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgement and decision making
  • Texas licensed Acute Care Physician Assistant
  • ACLS certification
  • 2 years of PA experience in
ICU/CVICU
required. Education Master's Degree Physician Assistant Req Experience 1 Year As a Physician Assistant. Pref Licenses and Certifications PA - Physician Assistant Must maintain board certification as required for licensure. Upon Hire Req Skills Active listening and learning, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgment and decision making. Supervision Individual Contributor ADA Requirements Working Indoors 67% or more Mechanical Hazards 1-33% Electrical Hazards 1-33% OSHA Tasks involving exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
