This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment serving a diverse and underserved population. Worcester is ideally located approximately 45 minutes west of Boston, offering convenient access to major metro amenities while maintaining a more affordable and community-focused setting. The organization provides comprehensive care across the lifespan and is recognized as a trusted healthcare resource in the region, delivering over 100,000 patient visits annually. This position is open due to continued growth and strong demand for primary care services. Position Overview This is a full-time, outpatient primary care role with a flexible schedule. Providers typically work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the option to work four 10-hour shifts if preferred. The patient population is primarily adult, with the option to include adolescent and pediatric patients based on your preference. The population served is largely underserved, with approximately 80% Medicaid, so a genuine interest in community health is essential. You will be part of an integrated care model, working closely with behavioral health providers and other members of the care team to deliver comprehensive, coordinated care. Responsibilities Conduct patient histories and physical examinations Diagnose and treat a wide range of primary care conditions Provide preventive care, screenings, and immunizations Manage chronic conditions and coordinate ongoing care Collaborate with behavioral health and multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate documentation using an electronic medical record system Appointments are typically scheduled in 20- and 40-minute blocks, allowing for a strong focus on quality of care rather than volume.
