Job Description

MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking a non-invasive cardiologist to join their existing team of experienced cardiologists at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital located at 5601 Loch Raven Boulevard, Baltimore, MD 21239. Practice includes a good amount of echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and activities include performing and interpreting TEEs. Call frequency is low, e.g., one night every two weeks (phone only) and 1:5 weekends. Post-call, have the option to take the next day off. This is an optimal position for a new graduate or experienced cardiologist. Work directly with three other cardiologists and one advanced practice provider and be part of a larger group of seven other cardiologists who work at MedStar Health's other downtown Baltimore hospitals, e.g., MedStar Union Memorial and MedStar Harbor. Opportunity offers a good mix of inpatient and outpatient work and flexible Monday through Friday schedule. Work up to seeing 16-18 outpatients daily. Our collaborative team approach ensures that each patient receives expert attention and care. We have full diagnostic capabilities and treat a wide range of heart conditions, including advanced heart failure and pulmonary hypertension.
Position Requirements:
