Job Description

Location:
  • The Johns Hopkins Hospital
  • Baltimore, MD 21214
Schedule:
  • Primarily night shifts; possible mix of days/nights.
Rotating 12-hour shifts: 7am 7:30pm or 7pm 7:30am. Weekdays and weekends.
Minimum commitment:
6 shifts per month (please note total availability)
Assignment Details:
Role:
Neonatal NP in Level IV NICU
  • Beds:
    49
  • Daily caseload: 6 14 patients. No call. Attend all high risk deliveries
  • Required procedures: lumbar puncture, direct laryngoscopy intubation, chest tube placement/removal, needle decompression, needle thoracentesis, umbilical arterial/venous catheterization, suprapubic bladder tap, radial arterial cannulation.
Contract:
  • 6 month assignment with likely extension
  • Start ASAP (temp privileges available)
  • Travel covered: flight, lodging, rental car/mileage.
