Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies
  • Prescribe medications and other treatments
  • Perform procedures within the scope of practice, such as suturing, wound care, and joint injections
  • Provide health coaching and education to patients on various topics, such as disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and family planning
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, including discharge planning and referrals to specialists
  • Utilize electronic medical record systems (e.
g., eClinicalWorks) for documentation and communication
Skills:
  • Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in primary care
  • Proficiency in conducting health assessments and physical examinations across the lifespan
  • Ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses
  • Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) used in primary care settings
  • Familiarity with ophthalmology procedures and equipment
  • Experience in health coaching to support patient behavior change
  • Understanding of family planning methods and counseling techniques
  • Competence in performing laboratory tests and interpreting results
