Job Description
Physician Assistant " inpatient admissions role Full-time employed position Daytime schedule only; no nights Focus on new patient admissions and initial evaluations Perform history and physicals and develop care plans Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests Collaborate with hospitalists, physicians, and care teams Coordinate care with nursing, case management, and ancillary services Assist with care transitions and discharge planning Document encounters in EMR Competitive compensation package Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance Comprehensive benefits including malpractice, CME, retirement, and PTO NP or PA; Maine licensure required; new graduates with inpatient training considered Located near attractions including Rangeley Lakes region, Sugarloaf Mountain, and Acadia National Park Approximately 35 miles ( 40 minutes) to Portland and 140 miles ( 2.5 hours) to Boston
