Job Description

Are you a clinician who aims to make a difference in the lives of your patients by providing quality care? TeamHealth needs someone like you! The ideal candidate will have experience in emergency or acute care settings and demonstrate strong clinical judgment, efficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with emergency physicians, nurses, and support staff to provide high-quality, timely care to patients presenting with a wide range of medical, surgical, and trauma-related conditions. Attending physicians will train a new graduate to gain skill set to make you successful! About the Role Perform comprehensive and focused histories and physical exams on patients of all ages Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work, EKGs, and imaging Formulate differential diagnoses and develop appropriate treatment plans Perform procedures such as
  • suturing lacerations, incision and drainage, splinting and joint reductions, wound care, and more Collaborate with supervising physicians and consult specialty services when appropriate Document all patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record (EMR) Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with departmental policies Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care Want to learn more?
