KARE CENTER
in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of licensed physicians to provide comprehensive patient care, from diagnosis and treatment planning to patient education and follow-up. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care across a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments for a range of acute and chronic conditions Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests including laboratory work, imaging, and EKGs Prescribe medications, therapies, and durable medical equipment as permitted by state law and practice agreements Perform clinical procedures including wound care, joint injections, suturing, and other in-office procedures as needed Provide patient education on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle modifications Document all patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Coordinate referrals to specialists and ensure appropriate follow-up on test results and consults Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team including physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless continuity of care Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review processes, and ongoing clinical education Qualifications & Requirements Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program (MMS, MPAS, or equivalent) Current, unrestricted PA license in the state of Michigan NCCPA certification (Physician Assistant-Certified, PA-C) required Current DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required Minimum of 1-2 years of PA clinical experience preferred; new graduates with exceptional training will be considered Experience in primary care, internal medicine, or a related specialty is a plus Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Strong diagnostic reasoning, clinical judgment, and decision-making skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience ($90,000•$125,000 annually) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer matching Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays Continuing medical education (CME) allowance and paid CME days Malpractice/professional liability insurance coverage Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates Signing bonus for experienced candidates Opportunity for career advancement and leadership roles within
