in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient care including medical evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management for patients across a range of medical and behavioral health needs. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, integrated, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient evaluations including history and physical examinations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical and psychiatric conditions in collaboration with supervising physicians. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating pharmacotherapy, referrals, and community resources. Prescribe and manage medications, monitoring patient response and adjusting treatment as clinically indicated. Provide patient education, psychoeducation, and support to patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans. Conduct follow-up appointments to monitor patient progress, medication efficacy, and overall well-being. Assess and manage urgent and emergent clinical situations, coordinating appropriate levels of care as needed. Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and quality improvement activities. Qualifications & Requirements Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an ARC-PA accredited program. Current NCCPA certification (PA-C) and active Michigan PA license (or eligibility to obtain). DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain) for prescribing controlled substances. 1-3 years of clinical experience in primary care, behavioral health, or integrated care preferred. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills. Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach. Why
