Pediatrics Position Overview:
Henry Ford Health Jackson is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Endocrinology to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will desire a contingent schedule, will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Previous APP experience of at least one-year required. Previous experience in ENDO, primary care, or inpatient hospital preferred. 205 N East Ave Jackson, MI 49201 Schedule
  • Contingent Status. Monday
  • Friday in clinic, with occasional inpatient weekend coverage. Weekend requirement
  • Occasional Weekends. Hours are typically 630a-230p OR Time

Qualifications:
  • NP•Completion of a Nurse Practitioner training program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) • PA•Completion of a Physician Assistant training program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) • NP•Certification by a certification body recognized by the State of Michigan • PA•Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Licensure and Certification • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Michigan, or in process of applying (must have proof of application) • National certification as an NP or PA (e.
g., ANCC, AANP, NCCPA)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • DEA/CSL, required through credentialing.

  • NPs do not have controlled substance licenses, only PAs. When NPs apply, they will enter MI license number instead of controlled substance license since they won't have a CSL. Skills
