Job Description

Hours:
Thursday 8 am
  • 4 pm, Friday 8 am
  • 2 pm
General Summary:
Educate and advise patients, diagnose and treat health problems, and provide general health care under the direction of the physician. Works under the supervision of Dr.
Kouba Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Example of Essential Duties:
Patient Evaluation and Diagnosis:
Perform physical exams, take medical histories, and diagnose various skin conditions.
Treatment Planning and Implementation:
Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and administer treatments for skin conditions.
Procedures:
Perform biopsies, cryotherapy, and other minor surgical procedures.
Patient Education:
Educate patients on proper skincare, sun protection, and preventive measures.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation.
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals. Other Essential Duties May Include (but are not limited to): 8. Other treatments and/or procedures after consulting with or under the supervision of the physician. 9. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Required:
  • Active Physician Assistant License from the Michigan State Medical Board
  • Knowledge of Physician Assistant theory, practice and medical care, medical equipment and instruments, and OSHA regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and determine solutions in order to best serve the patients.
  • Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.
  • Current BLS required.
Education:
  • Master s Degree and licensed as a Physician Assistant in the State of Michigan
