Advanced Practice Registered Nurses

• APRNs:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Masters or Doctorate degree
• Licensed as a registered nurse and as an APRN by the Minnesota Board of Nursing
• Certified by a national credentialing board
• Certified by specialty
• Mustplete continuing education and professional development beyond formal education as outlined by certifying body Physician Assistant

• PAs:

• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program
• Licensed by Minnesota Board of Medicine
• Certified through National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
• Certification by specialty is also available
• Mustplete continuing education and professional development beyond formal education as outlined by certifying body Both APC positions will also have:
• Basic Life Support (Advanced Life Support as required by your area of practice)
• ATLS or CALS
• DEA registration
• Pass background check
