Over 20,000 Students 10 Campuses Competency Based Education Online Physician Assistant Director of Outcomes and Assessment Description South College is seeking a dynamic and energetic faculty member to join the Physician Assistant Studies program at our Asheville, NC campus as the Director of Outcomes and Assessments. This position is full-time, on-site in Asheville, North Carolina.
Responsibilities Manage and Analyze Program Data :
Collect, organize, and maintain comprehensive programmatic data required for ARC-PA and SACSCOC accreditation, which may include, but not limited to - pass rates, student outcomes, attrition, admissions, didactic, clinical and post-graduation - for the program assigned/working under.
Benchmark Performance:
Conduct regular benchmarking of program metrics against national, regional, and peer institution standards to assess compliance and alignment with evolving industry expectations.
Support Regulatory Reporting and Accreditation :
Assist PA program leadership for the program assigned to in preparing, validating, and submitting accurate and timely annual report, standards reporting/tracking, and ARC-PA accreditation required reports with documented evidence.
Drive Continuous Quality Improvement :
Leverage ongoing data analytics to inform program evaluation and guide evidence-based decision-making from admissions to PANCE. Consult with the Program Director and prepare all institutional annual reports and accreditation documents as required for submission for the program working under (KNX/ATL).
Monitor Program Compliance and Risk Mitigation :
Track accreditation requirements, proactively identifying potential risks or gaps in program performance. Recommend timely corrective actions to maintain program integrity and compliance for the PA program that this position reports to and share with other programs through collaboration duties. Serve as academic advisor for students in the didactic and clinical portions of the program. Serve on the program's Principal Faculty and Staff Committee, Admissions Committee, Academic Standards and Student Progress Committee, Didactic/clinical Assessment Committee, and other College or program Committees as assigned.
Chair ARC-PA Standards Committee :
In conjunction with Program Director and Associate Program Directors keep faculty and staff abreast of current standards and changes in standards to maintain accreditation Develop, review, and provide recommendations, as necessary, the program's mission statement and goals.
Student Success:
Provide students with strong academic and advising support through mentoring, evaluations and constructive feedback to monitor progress and identify areas of weakness. Requirements Education A minimum of a master's degree in a health science or health-related field Doctorate preferred. Experience Minimum three years of full-time experience in a physician assistant program working as program faculty that includes data, assessment, and outcomes. Experience with research, teaching, lecturing, statistics, and technical writing in medical education or health sciences, including strong written and oral communication and advanced computer skills.
