The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting initial psychiatric assessments, rounding, and developing treatment plans. This role requires a compassionate individual who can work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and mental health assessments of patients. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic mental health conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding their health and wellness. Collaborate with medical staff in a medical office setting to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Give long-acting subcutaneous or IM injections to support patient sobriety and mental health Skills Proficient in basic life support techniques. Familiarity with medical office operations and patient management systems. Previous psychiatry or addiction medicine experience is preferred Previous background in the diagnosis of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatments and familiarity with non-pharmacological interventions is preferred. Job Requirements NCCPA certification and current Physician Assistant licensure in North Carolina Current DEA license Must reside or be willing to relocate to Charlotte, North Carolina Join our team as a Physician Assistant where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of your patients while working in a supportive and professional environment.
