Job Description

Cardiac Surgery Fargo, North Dakota•APP•Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Sanford Health in Fargo, North Dakota is seeking an Experienced PA in Cardiac Surgery to join its team. Here are some more details below: Experience of 1+ years (preferably from a busy practice) Surgical 1st. assist in cardiac Duties include endoscopic vein harvesting and endoscopic radial artery harvesting, insert/remove chest tubes, IABP removal, 1st assist with operative cases including CABG, AVR/MVR, Aortic aneurysm repair, Aortic dissection, ECMO cannulation. Robotic assisted and minimally invasive valve surgeries, empyema and pneumothorax management. Outstanding working relationship between physicians and APPs Support from a full range of specialists Increased autonomy System-wide

Professional Skills:
Graduate of accredited PA program Ability to work autonomously Ideal candidate would have cardiac surgical experience, however, other candidates with surgical experience will be considered. Will also consider new graduates with cardiac surgery elective and supporting recommendations.
