The ideal candidate will be driven, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing exceptional patient care alongside other members of the interdisciplinary patient care team. What You'll Do:

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history, physical examination, and diagnostic interpretation Manage pre-operative and post-operative visits, including patient education, surgical planning, and follow-up care Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as labs, imaging, and endoscopy results Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians Provide patient counseling on disease processes and treatment options Round on inpatients assigned to General Surgery; assist with consultations requested by the ED and Hospitalist services Coordinate referrals and procedures as needed

What We're Looking For:

Nurse Practitioner:

Bachelor Master of Science degree, or Master of Nursing degree from an accredited institution Three years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner 3-5 years' experience as Nurse Practitioner in General Surgery preferred Able to read, write, and communicate in English Computer skills required Ability to maintain confidential information NH Board of Nursing licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner BLS certification preferred Physician Assistant Bachelor of Science degree and graduate of American Medical Association Approved Physician Assistant Program Three years of experience as a Physician Assistant 3-5 years' experience as Physician Assistant in General Surgery preferred Able to read, write, and communicate in English Computer skills required Ability to maintain confidential information NH Board of Medicine licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant BLS certification preferred Why Join Speare Memorial Hospital?
