As one of the nation's leading providers of urgent care and occupational health services, AFC offers accessible, efficient, and patient-focused medical care—7 days a week, with extended hours and walk-in availability. We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our expanding clinical team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to practice medicine in a supportive, fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on teamwork and professional development. Responsibilities Provide patient-centered care for acute illnesses, injuries, and minor emergencies. Perform comprehensive histories and physical exams. Order, interpret, and act upon diagnostic tests including X-rays and lab work. Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians. Perform clinical procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, wound care, and vaccinations. Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR). Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Board Certified. Active, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of New Jersey. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively in a high-volume setting. Schedule & Compensation Full-time and part-time positions available.
