Job Description

Atlantic Health is Seeking a Thoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Professional Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Thoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Professional (NP or PA) to join North Jersey Thoracic Surgical Associates. This nationally ranked and expanding service line offers a collaborative practice environment with experienced thoracic surgeons and a high volume of cases. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will support both inpatient and outpatient care, with responsibilities at Morristown Medical Center, Overlook Medical Center, and satellite outpatient offices. Candidates with at least two years of experience are preferred, particularly with adult and critical care populations. Responsibilities include performing patient assessments, ordering diagnostic tests, assisting in surgical and post-operative care, developing and implementing treatment plans, providing patient education, collaborating with the care team, and maintaining accurate electronic medical records. The schedule for this position is a 4-day work week, varying between Monday-Friday with rotational weekends required. New Graduates Welcome to Apply!
