Job Description

Atlantic Health is Seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant for Orthopedic Surgery in Morristown, New Jersey Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center. We are looking for a dedicated and reliable PA to collaborate with our supportive and well-established orthopedic team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in surgical orthopedics and 2-5 years of experience in orthopedics, spine, or PM&R. The PA should possess strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, see patients independently, and demonstrate effective teamwork skills. The primary responsibilities of the PA will involve assisting in orthopedic surgical cases, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, evaluating and treating patients in an outpatient setting, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care. The Atlantic Orthopedic Institute at Morristown Medical Center has been nationally recognized for its exceptional patient care and expertise in the field. The institute has been ranked among the top 50 hospitals in the nation for orthopedics by U.S. News & World Report for multiple years. Located in Northern NJ, comprised of suburban neighborhoods, top-ranked school districts, and a charming downtown lined with delicious restaurants and local shops. Qualifications Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey Must be certified by the National Board of Certification of Orthopaedic Physician's Assistants ACLS and BLS certification required Minimum 2-5 years of experience preferred OR experience preferred Must have excellent communication and computer skills Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
